A.C. Delete for all 82-92 F-body. (Camaro, Firebird, Trans Am) Allows you to remove the evaporator core housing cleaning up the firewall, and maintain the heater function. Flat top allows for optimal placement of MSD box on firewall. Holes marked in factory location. (YOU WILL NEED TO DRILL THE HOLES FOR THE FAN AND TO MOUNT TO THE FIRE WALL) Also allows use of FACTORY AC fan and mounting hardware. Also marked for blower fan resistor allowing use of variable speed ac fan if desired. Easy project, just pull off your evaporator cover. Use the original fan and resistor if you desire. Then bolt back on. No need to replace the factory heater core, fan, or resistor. Any questions are welcome. This allows for more space for large valve covers and headers as well as big block engines. Molded in fiberglass for additional strength and stands up to heat, far better than the generic plastic covers offered. This piece also features more crisp and square lines much like the original steel heater box looked like.
All kits are sold as unfinished products, prep-work (i.e. sanding, cutting, filling, body work and primer) and painting is required for the best finished look.
Items come in gray primer. Professional shop with body kit installation experience recommended.
